5 things you should know about Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag

1. Always have some cash on you, at least $1000, because you never know when you’ll need some cash to buy something and money is hard to come by.
2. When at sea, pick your fights according to skill and ship progress. Don’t try to be a hero and take on the entire Spanish Navy with an under developed ship, you’ll have to work on it.
3. Master countering, countering is a skill you have in combat, without it you are nearly defenceless.
4. Explore when you can, the game is covered with prizes for you to find.
5. Have fun.

Work Experience 2

On the 29th of July I started Work Experience at the Victoria Hotel in Port Fairy. As it was a quiet time of year it wasn’t very busy and I didn’t have a lot to. I just asked around seeing if they wanted me to do anything for them, and that kept me occupied for the majority of the week.

On a typical day I would get the ice every morning for the bar, see if they needed anything to do. If not, I went to see the chef and ask him. Sometimes I got to help prep the food but 50-60% of the time I was washing dishes.

The highlights would be just basically seeing what goes on for the workers in a restraunt or bar area, the challenge was just finishing all of the dishes in time to get home

Some tips on going there would be to get there early, always ask what to do if there is nothing to do and be happy.

ICT this Semester

In ICT we have used a variety of programs, from Microsfot Excel to Irfan View to QR coding. It has been interesting to learn how to everything works. I liked using the Microsoft programs because I wasn’t familiar with it at all. It should be a good skill to have it a fure that is becoming more and more dependant on technology. And technology is evolving all the time so it’s a good idea to keep up with the times.
